From Milwaukee Dance Hall Series of tin, this stunning border panel is truly magnificent. She dates from approximately 1890 and she's finished in a creamy ivory glaze with medium charcoal lowlights. Unlike the field tins which made up the majority of the ceiling, these ladies are featured with their eyes closed, hence the title.
Classic Art Nouveau styling is in the headdress and flourishes. She is topped off with a silvery/gold role design pediment and a decorative silver tone frame moulding base.
She's marvelous for a wall but can also be used as a fireplace screen as well since the bottom is flat and she will stand on her own. If you would like to use her in this fasion, let me know and I will include some metal feet with screw to the back for added stability. She would be stunning as a fireplace piece or in a foyer. She'll be at home wherever you place her!
This product is 24 inches wide and 32 inches tall and weighs 15 pounds.
